ogbuilds Privacy Policy

ogbuilds is an independent app studio based in the United Kingdom (“ogbuilds”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the ogbuilds studio website at ogbuilds.ai — the pages where we showcase our products, share updates, and let you get in touch.

Each ogbuilds product (for example our apps and browser extensions) has its own, separate privacy policy that describes the data that product collects. This policy is only about the studio website itself.

The studio website is informational and has no user accounts. We only collect:

• Newsletter sign-ups: if you choose to subscribe, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you new releases and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Messages you send us: if you use a contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message so we can reply.
• Basic analytics: anonymised, aggregate usage data (such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from) to understand what's useful and improve the site. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

We use the above only to operate the site, send you the updates you asked for, respond to your messages, and improve the studio website. We never sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

We rely on your consent for newsletter sign-ups and analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the studio website and replying to enquiries. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. They process data only on our behalf:

• Vercel — website hosting and standard server logs.
• Our newsletter system (operated via ogbuilds' own hq service) — to store your subscription and send updates.
• PostHog — privacy-conscious, aggregate website analytics.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA (for example in the United States); where that's the case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards.

The site uses only what's needed to function and to measure aggregate analytics. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and contact messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. To exercise any of these, or to unsubscribe, contact us at olly@ogbuilds.ai.

The studio website is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

If we update this policy we'll change the date above and, for material changes, note it on this page.
