hi, i'm olly.

i'm an indie founder and builder. i like sharp products that ship, and i run them end to end: design, code, and everything after.

ogbuilds is my multi-product studio. i build across consumer and b2b: omniscia for ad teams, path·ai for anyone learning ai/ml, verif·ai for spotting ai-generated content, flingdows for mac power users, plus gif·ai and tokki on the way, each one designed and built in-house.

omniscia, path·ai, verif·ai, and flingdows are out in the world; gif·ai and tokki are on the way, built to the same bar. omniscia is the most built-out so far: an ai platform that scores video ad creative for performance marketers across meta, google, and tiktok.

i ship often and keep the list tight. if it isn't fun to use, it doesn't go out.

where i've been

i've spent over a decade as a digital, motion, and ui designer, agency-side and in-house. most recently i led creative automation for marketing at a startup, sitting between design and engineering and turning concepts and prototypes into things people could actually use.

the work ran wide: branded static and motion design across reports, web, and social; 2d and 3d animation owned end to end from storyboard to sound to final delivery; and ui work grounded in personas, journey mapping, and rapid prototyping for real ab tests.

i've been shipping my own apps and games under the name ollygrov since 2013, mostly nights and weekends. the tipping point was 2023, when i designed and built a mobile ad server mvp and a native macos analytics platform in c# and swift. shipping software end to end is what turned a designer who codes into a founder, and ogbuilds is where that goes now.
